Abeaddict.com livepack volume 1: Free!!!!!

Ok,i finally finished working on a good sound library for people to use in Ableton Live 7+ .

The sounds were all designed with dollar bin records. That's 20 records into 11 different kits. There are two kits which used the same two loops chopped up, but there were so many good sounds to use off those records that I had to keep it like that. So in other words each kit consists of two different records. One set of chops is the tone, while the other is the rhythm section.

All the records were 33rpms, but I decided to record everything at 45 rpm to bring back that old school sampling style of saving memory on samplers that don't have much memory. So everything was recorded at 45rpm, but within the drum racks environment the sounds were all transposed/pitched down and many sounds were put either through a low pass, band pass, and high pass filter to make things stand out more. Each cell/pad can be moved based on note values without damaging the sound of the sample.

Everything was recorded with a Shure m97xe needle, emu 1616m (think protools hd sound) interface and chopped in Adobe Audition 3. Many records did have pops and clicks and those were removed with a minimal amount of sound loss.

All kits are free to distribute under the creative commons 3.0 license: License Link

please don't sell these as your own sound library
